Epoxy and polyaspartic are both high-performance systems, but they perform differently. Traditional epoxy is a thick, chemical-resistant coating that bonds exceptionally well to properly prepared concrete. It’s slower to cure, which can be an advantage for larger applications where working time matters. The tradeoff is UV sensitivity, epoxy can amber and yellow over time in spaces with sunlight exposure.

Polyaspartic coatings cure faster, resist UV yellowing, and remain flexible through temperature swings, making them better suited for garages with natural light or spaces that get very hot in summer. They also allow same-day return to service in many cases.
